The EDI 810 Data Alert provides you with a method of notifying your price book administrator, via e-mail, when an EDI Invoice contains C-Store items that do not exist in the price book or if the item does exist in the price book but it is not set to receive. The alert will be created each time an invoice with an item meeting one of these two conditions processes. The alerts will be sent with the frequency defined for the user in Data Alert File Maintenance. See the following Data Alert File Maintenance Form:
The schedule that you specify for the alert should reflect the schedule used to process EDI invoices. For example, if you process EDI 810 invoices only once a day, at 1:00 p.m., then your alerts should be sent only once a day after processing occurs. On the other hand, if your EDI 810 schedule runs every 10 minutes, then your alert schedule should occur at the same frequency.
There are no tolerances for the EDI 810 Data Alert, so set the tolerance to 0.00.
