The Graphic Report Generator is responsible for creating the ExecuGraph report graphics. Since this program will be defined as an event, the scheduling program will run the program at the specified time, therefore no user interface is required for executing the program.
When assigning the schedule it's important to remember that the program relies on the data from processed shift reports. For that reason, it's important that you select a schedule that runs daily after all shift reports have been posted and processed for the day. The program uses the following criteria to generate the reports: current system date, profit centers in the consolidation path stored in system parameter 16000, and directory path for file storage.
The base path for graphic report storage equals/factor/offline reports/[database]. The sub-directories are named by profit center number and mirror the structure of the consolidation path.
If you fail to schedule graphic report generation, then the graphic reports will be unavailable for users.
