Retail Sales Audit Summary Report

The Retail Sales Audit Summary report provides you with a summary of data you need to verify at each store; this data includes:

• Over/Shorts

• Voids

• No Sales

• Coupons

• Lottery sales

• Inside Sales

• Customer Count

• Average Sale per Customer

The report is available in the Retail Sales document group. As with other DataTrak reports, this report provides drill down functionality based on the DataTrak profit center path configuration and the store assignment for the User ID used to access the report. This report is available in Sales Reports document group. When you select the report, DataTrak displays the following selection criteria screen:

As you can see, the report has only one criterion: Date you can enter a single date or enter a date range by entering a starting date and an ending date separated by a colon (:).

Retail Sales Audit Summary Report

The summary report displays the highest level of consolidation. The report lists the following data for each profit center.
Note: Depending upon the structure of your path, the listed profit centers may be a lower level consolidation profit center (i.e., district or region) or an actual profit center.

Cash O/S

The total sum dollar value of the cash over or short for Profit Centers.

Lottery O/S

The total sum dollar value of the lottery ticket sales for on-line and in-store sales.

Money Order O/S

The total sum dollar value of money order sales.

Fuel O/S

The total sum dollar value of all fuel sales.

Void Amount

The total sum dollar value of all voids.

Number of Voids

The total number of all of voids.

Number of No Sales

The total number of times the till was opened without making a sale.

Total Coupons Tendered

The total dollar amount of coupons tendered.

Lottery Ticket Sales

The total sum dollar value of in-store lottery ticket sales.

Total Lottery Online Sales

The total sum dollar value of on-line lottery ticket sales.

Inside Sales

The total sum dollar amount of all in-store sales.

Number of Customers

The total number of sales.

Average Inside Sales Per Customer

The average dollar amount per sale.  (Total inside sales divided by the total number of sales)

In addition to the data presented on the summary report, the detail report also lists:

• Department

• Beginning Inventory

• Inventory Received

• Inventory Transferred

• Ending Inventory

• Count Sales

• Item Register Sales

• Sales Over Short Register

• Units Over Short Register

• The report also totals all items
