Performance Summary reports present key performance information. Inside sales dollars, fuel gallons, total revenue, and total gross profit for a selected month are compared to the same month of the previous year. Year-to-date data for the two years is also included.
Reports are available in summary format for both parent and child profit centers.
When you select Performance Summary reports, the system displays the following report criteria screen:

The following selection criteria allow you to specify the period you want to compare on the report and the way the report is viewed.
Enter a ending date for the period you wish to compare. You must make an entry in this field and it must be in mm/dd/yy format. For example:
01/10/99
Note: If no date is entered the system defaults to the current system date.
You may specify how you want to view and/or print the report by choosing from the following selections:
· View Report Directly
· Condense Print
· Print Directly to LPN
· Display/Print Selection Page

Note: Performance Summary reports print in Landscape format.

The column headings are as follows:
Current
The columns beneath the Current heading refer to current period performance information.
Last Year
The columns beneath the Last Year heading refer to performance information for the prior year.
Current YTD
The columns beneath the Current YTD heading refer to performance data for the current year through the selected period.
Last YTD
The columns beneath the Year-to-Date (YTD) heading refer to performance data for the prior year.
The report columns are as follows:
Inside Dollars
The Inside Dollars columns display the sum of sales dollars for merchandise categories only. Values are rounded to the nearest whole number.
Fuel Gallons
The Fuel Gallons columns display the sum of fuel gallons for fuel products only. Values are rounded to the nearest whole number.
Total Revenue
The Total Revenue columns display the total revenue generated by inside sales and fuel gallon sales. The Total Revenue value is calculated by using the following formula:
X + Y
X = the Inside Dollars value for the specified period or year.
Y = the corresponding Fuel Gallons value for the specified period or year.
Values are rounded to the nearest whole number.
Total Gross Profit
The Total GP columns display the total gross profit dollars for the profit center. Total GP values are calculated by using the following formula:
X + Y
X = the gross profit values for Inside Dollars categories for the specified period or year. Note: Inside Dollars gross profit values are retrieved by the system and do not print on Performance Summary reports.
Y = the gross profit values for Fuel Gallons categories for the specified period or year. Note: Fuel Gallons gross profit values are retrieved by the system and do not print on Performance Summary reports.

Profit Center
The report displays the name and number of the profit center represented by the corresponding report data.
If a profit center has a child profit center, it appears as a hyperlink. Clicking on the hyperlink allows you to view child Performance Summary reports.
If a profit center has child profit centers, you may click on the parent profit center’s hyperlink on the Performance Summary report to view summary report information for its child profit centers.

The Performance Summary child report is based on the same selection criteria you entered for the parent profit center.
Performance information for each child profit center is displayed in the same manner as it is on the parent report.

Y = the gross profit values for Fuel Gallons categories for the specified period or year. Note: Fuel Gallons gross profit values are retrieved by the system and do not print on Performance Summary reports.

Profit Center
The report displays the name and number of the profit center represented by the corresponding report data.
Total
Total values are the sum of all corresponding column values for the profit centers.
Average
Averages are calculated by the following formula:
X / Y
X = the specified Total value.
Y = the number of profit centers.
