Lottery Sales Comparison Reports

Lottery Sales Comparison reports allow users to compare Lottery sales data for a particular date range with data pertaining to the same date range from the previous year.

Reports are available in summary format for both parent and child profit centers.

Note: This report is only available to StoreTrak users. Since the report lists "reported" sales and not what was entered at the register, the sales may not agree with your general ledger.

When you select Lottery Sales Comparison reports, the system displays the following report criteria screen:

The following selection criteria allow you to specify the period you want to compare on the report and the way the report is viewed.

Date

Enter the starting date for the period you wish to compare. Use mm/dd/yy format. For example:

01/10/99

Note: If you do not enter a date, the system defaults to the current date.

View/Print Selections

You may specify how you want to view and/or print the report by choosing from the following selections:

· View Report Directly

· Condense Print

· Print Directly to LPN

· Display/Print Selection Page

The following information is listed on Lottery Sales Comparison Summary reports:

Note: Table LOTTMISC is used to retrieve sales data for StoreTrak users only.

Column Headings

The column headings for the report are as follows:

Current

The columns beneath the Current heading display Lottery sales values for the specified period.

Prior

The columns beneath the Prior heading display Lottery sales values for the specified period one year earlier.

Columns

The report columns are as follows:

Ticket Sales $

The Ticket Sales $ column displays the sum of Lottery ticket sales from all sources except on-line sales for the current or prior period. Values are rounded to the nearest whole dollar.

On-Line $

The On-Line $ column displays the sum of on-line Lottery ticket sales for the current or prior period. Values are rounded to the nearest whole dollar.

Total

The Total column displays the sum of Lottery ticket sales from all sources for the current or prior period. Total values are calculated by adding the On-Line $ value to the Ticket Sales $ value. Values are rounded to the nearest whole dollar.

Sections Listed On The Report

The following sections are listed on the report:

Profit Center

The report displays the name and number of the profit center represented by the corresponding report data.

If a primary profit center has a child profit center, it appears as a hyperlink. Clicking on the hyperlink allows you to view information for child profit centers.

Child Lottery Sales Reports

If a profit center has a child profit center, click on the parent profit center’s hyperlink to view child Lottery Sales Comparison reports.

Note: Values on the detail report are rounded to the nearest whole number. Because each value is rounded, Total values may differ from the Summary report. The Summary report should be considered more accurate.
