How the Process Works

The process for viewing reports works like this:

  1. For PCs that are connected to your LAN, open a web browser. For remote PCs that are not part of your LAN, connect to your company’s Virtual Private Network (VPN). Open a web browser.

  2. Enter the Universal Resource Locator (URL) or select the “Favorites” shortcut for DataTrak.

  3. When the site is displayed, you are immediately requested to enter a username and password.

  4. After you login, the system displays the primary desktop for your username. When your user account was created, the system administrator created your Primary Desktop (Desktop0) based on the documents that you have authority to view.

  5. To view a report, simply click the document link on your desktop. You can then enter selection criteria and subsequently view the report.
