Four Week Comparison reports allow users to compare sales data for a selected week with sales data from four prior weeks. The current year’s activity may also be compared with the previous year’s data.
Reports are available in summary and detailed format for both parent and child profit centers.
Note: Since the report lists "reported" lottery sales and not what was entered at the register, the sales may not agree with your general ledger.
When you select Four Week Comparison reports, the system displays the following report criteria screen:

The following selection criteria allow you to specify the week you want to compare on the report and the way the report is viewed.
Enter the ending date for the week you wish to compare. You must make an entry in this field and it must be in mm/dd/yy format. For example:
01/10/99
You do not need to know the exact Week End Date. The system will find the actual End date for any date you enter.
You may specify how you want to view and/or print the report by choosing from the following selections:
· View Report Directly
· Condense Print
· Print Directly to LPN
· Display/Print Selection Page

Note: Ten weeks are shown on Four Week Comparison reports. The first week in both the Current and Last Year sections is the week chosen as report criteria. Prior weeks are then chosen by subtracting one week from the selected current and prior year Week End dates and then subtracting one week from each subsequent Week End date.
The report sections are as follows:
Merchandise $
The Merch $ section reports merchandise sales values for each Week Ending Date column. Column values are rounded to the nearest whole dollar.

Y = the sum of credit values retrieved from the GL_JRNL_RS table for each week. Note: Credit values are retrieved and calculated by the system. They are not displayed on Four Week Comparison reports.
