The Event Maintenance program lets you specify the schedule to use for running certain events. These events include the following:
When scheduling an event, you can use any of the pre-defined schedules or any schedule that you create through Schedule File Maintenance.
Use the following procedure to schedule an event:
Login to the portal as "admin".
Click the Maintenance option on the portal menu, and the system displays the Portal Maintenance screen.
Select the Event Maintenance option in the Maintenance Library tree, and the right browser pane displays the portal maintenance form.
Select the appropriate database from the drop down list and then click the submit button. The system displays the Event field.
Select the event from the dropdown list and then click the Submit button. The system displays the Schedule field.
Select the schedule to use for performing the event and then click the submit button.
