Nothing happens when I login to DataTrak. All I see is an empty window: Verify that Java Virtual Machine (JVM) has been installed on the client PC. You can access the JVM set up program by clicking on the link at the DataTrak login screen.
I can't drill down into a report. Verify that your profit center path is correct. Verify that there are no loops in the path. For example PC 100 >> PC 10 >> PC 5 >> PC 10. In this example, profit center 10 creates a "loop".
I can't rearrange document groups on my primary desktop. Only the DataTrak administrator can change the format of a primary desktop or add or remove document groups from the primary desktop. Create custom desktops to add your most commonly used documents to your desktop.
Data on my report does not change. If the report is an offline report, the data will not change until the next time the offline report is generated. If the report relies on data from the retail sales consolidation table, verify that the consolidate retail data program is run on a daily basis. Data in the table will not change until the consolidation program is run.
My report didn't return any information. If your report does not return any data, verify that you entered the correct selection criteria. If the criteria are correct, verify that your profit center path is correct.
Amounts show "0" for certain profit centers. If the profit centers that display "0" amounts are dummy profit centers, verify that the fuel products have been set up in the Inventory Master for the profit center AND also that inventory, sales, and cost accounts exist in the profit center's chart of accounts.
I receive a "User Name or Password is not valid" message when I try to login: Contact your DataTrak administrator for the correct username and password.
My graphic reports display only the bars for the current year: If no data exists for a period then, the graphic report does not display a bar for that period. This can happen if no data exists in the system prior to the past 12 to 24 months.
I forgot my username and/or password. Contact the DataTrak administrator. Only the administrator can change usernames and passwords.
When I select a report in a document group, nothing happens. Some popup blocker applications can interpret normal DataTrak functions, such as clicking on a document link, as an unwanted popup window. Subsequently the popup blocker "kills" the window that displays a report's selection criteria screen. This makes it appear as if nothing happens when you click on a document link. If this occurs, disable the popup blocker. Note: some popup blockers provide a temporary override, for example, holding the Ctrl key when you click a link to temporarily disable the block. Consult your popup blocker's documentation for information on disabling and overriding blocker functionality.
